When Balticgruppen, a big real estate company in Umeå, Sweden, launched several hotels, cafés and resturants they wanted the best coworkers they could find. In total around 70 new assainments was to be appointed in four new establishments with premium profile.
To attract the absolute best people in the business living in Umeå and nearby we had to show that our ambitions was super high.
We took the campaign world wide and advertised our message outside some of the worlds best restaurants and hotels. Our venture was documented and the material was then used to speak to our target group in Sweden, who were invited to participate in a gigantic speed dating where they could meet with their new employers.
The effect of the campaign was far above expectations. 1600 aspirants arrived from near and far for our speed dating. The campaign received attention in the region’s main newspapers and created a huge interest in the new establishments that all became very successful. Stora Hotellet, which is one of them, was appointed best newcomer by World Hotel Boutique Awards in 2014.
